CSS Templates

I’ve recently come across freecsstemplates.com and I have to say that I’m rather impressed with what they have to offer their visitors. A lot of internet users, bloggers especially, have trouble designing templates that are visually appealing. There are many sites on the internet that offer free web templates for someone but there are very few that are offering entire CSS based templates that are standards compliant.

Is Social Media Marketing ethical?

Cameron Olthuis has defended the use of social media marketing as an SEO technique following Jason Calacanis’ latest statement, including the comments: “This whole gaming of digg/Netscape/MySpace is being called SMO–social media optimization. That’s the worst thing I’ve ever heard of. Anyone who hires an SMO firm is an idiot.” I would have to agree with Cameron on this:

Tips for hiding your email address from Spam/Bots

I’ve been doing work on a website for one of my clients, and I noticed they followed a trend with their email address that I’ve seen a lot. They were getting lots of spam at their contact email address, i.e. contact@company.com, so they replaced it with contact2@company.com as a last ditch method to stop the avalanche of spam.
