When it comes to running an internet business it’s important to be tapped into many resources to make your business run smoothly. A key thing for me is the ability to accept credit cards when someone is paying me for my services.
There are quite a few websites on the internet that accept all forms of payment, from credit cards, debit cards, checks, cash and much, much more. It’s nice to see that you don’t even have to go to the store anymore to get what you need. The internet has made the world rather convenient. Heck, you can even do your grocery shopping online these days, as well!
I spend quite a bit of money online. Many purchases, however, are business based. I do need to make sure that computers are properly up and running and I purchase approximately 100 domains a week for clients on both the web hosting and web design ends of the spectrum. Just today I processed about 40 sign ups. I do have a bank account but I like to keep about half of my money in Paypal considering I use my Paypal Debit Card as my primary form of payment for everything. Transactions show up instantly and I know exactly where all of my money is going with out a lot of paperwork to deal with. The rest of my money I leave in a high yield savings account, I don’t touch anything in there unless it’s an absolute emergency.
I’m currently in the process of working on about six different accounts, all of which I know are going to be fully processed by credit card and I’m thankful to know that the money is going to come in rather quickly for my services. I should probably get myself in gear on completing one of the accounts. Unfortunately I haven’t been feeling very well lately so I’m a little bit behind schedule on one of the accounts I’m working on. Guess I should get to it before the medicine kicks in, shouldn’t I?
