Scrapbookers Dream!

I’m sure this topic isn’t limited to those in the scrapbooking world, but I honestly don’t know of a larger group of people who enjoy taking photography to such a personal level. Today I came across a resource that can easily turn your most prized photos into Photo Blankets. I know I’ve seen things like this before but I never actually thought that I’d be able to accomplish it with a photo of Sean and I or even turn Bella’s bed into her own personalized blanket, instead of the Princess one she sleeps on.

Boost hits, join directories

An important aspect of maintaining your website isn’t limited to original content and the joining of blogrolls. There are many other forms of free advertising that count as more of an incoming link than the JavaScript based blogroll you’ve recently joined with over 200 members. I know this seems a little odd, but trust me – I’ve done my research. Getting yourself linked onto Directories is always a great way of getting some hits to your website. On top of that, it also counts as an incoming link which will now help you with your PR/Alexa/Technorati – whichever rank you…more»

Working out the kinks

I’m still fiddling with the dual-monitors. I know, it seems to be my only topic of discussion today but trust me, there’s a reason for it. I’m starting to get used to how things are working out. Email/Chat to the right and work to the left. Thankfully, with Active Desktop there’s the ability to have two completely different backgrounds which is nice considering I tend to alternate them so frequently that I don’t get to use them for a long amount of time when I change things. So now I can display two at once and hopefully that’ll stop me…more»

Looks can be deceiving…

For quite some time now I’ve been using the Internet as a pretty great form of income, working for myself is proving to be more difficult as time goes by depending on how good of a month I have. With that, I’ve decided to get back into school so I can earn my Bachelors and get myself a job with someone else’s company. Even with my background, I’m limited as to where I can work considering almost every place I’ve applied to requires some kind of an educational background, so much so that they don’t care very much about life…more»

TomTom or Magellan?

Sean and I are planning on purchasing an RV later on down the road when life has settled down and the only thing we need is the open road, and each other. With this, we’ve been looking into numerous GPS based systems because men refuse to ask directions and choose to buy electronics to prove a point. As long as we don’t get lost, I don’t care. So we’ve narrowed it down to two options – TomTom and Magellan. Both of which seem to be great choices. Knowing that a few of my regulars are gadget admirers, which one would…more»

Wii Games

Sean and I have been looking into a few titles that we’re interested in owning for the Wii. I figured I’d share the list and ask that if any of you own or have played any of these games – if you could give me an honest opinion. Are they a waste of money, or are they worth the purchase?

New Site: My Writers Circle

It’s not hard for me to find new and interesting sites that keep me entertained. Today I came across one that started up in 2005 and has a little over four thousand members, it’s called writers circle and their database includes members from all over the world. I thought this was going to be another fan fiction kind of a website, but it’s actually a completely different take on networking – if you ask me. You share your writing through the forums.
