And the shopping continues…

I haven’t made any purchases yet, I’ve just been adding random things to the bookmarks.  At this point there’s more on the list than their is space in the house we’re looking into so naturally these are going to be future purchases.  I just like wide open floor plans and filling a house with unnecessary items really makes no sense to me.  So instead of the floors, I’ve been looking towards filling up the walls with funky artwork.  I like a lot of different materials but I’m partial to iron wall art because there’s just something about it that I…more»

Acting Up

My cell has been acting up for the last few days and I wish I knew why.  I know it’s not the service because Hubby is under the same plan and his phone is working just fine.  I just don’t like not having the ability to make a phone call unless I flick the antenna.  I think it’s because of how crappy the phone is, I don’t use it that often.  It’s not scratched up,  I’ve never dropped it.  I just wish I could figure out what was wrong.  Maybe it’s time to take a trip and get things changed…more»

October’s Coming!

October is just around the corner. While my birthday falls on the 22nd, I care more about the 31st. This is when all of the Halloween costumes come out of the closet for display on any and everyone you can find. I’ve always loved Halloween, there’s so many things to do that it puts every other holiday on the back burner for me. I see it as the only holiday that Hallmark hasn’t completely taken over. You buy a few bags of candy for the kids, you travel to the best Haunted House in your area, you dress up in…more»

Wigging Out

My eyes are starting to flake out on me.  It’s probably based on the fact that I’ve been on the computer longer in the last 24 hours than I’ve been in the last week.  I’m building up the “To Buy” list for the house, getting a lot of work completed and numerous other things as well.  I figure that the only way to really get to where I need to go is if I can manage to bring in at least $100 a day over the course of the next few weeks.  That gives me about $3,000 a month, and…more»

Preparation

For the past few days I’ve been building up a pretty large list of things that we’re going to have to purchase when we move into our own place. A lot of the items are going to be a requirement before we even make the move in regards to plates and small kitchen based items, so I could probably just pick up a few pots and pans from Walmart or something before we go. This way I at least have the ability to make something our first night there. The rest is just things that I’d like to pick up…more»

In a funk

I haven’t been doing so well for the past couple of days. I’m not too sure about what’s come over me, but I know for certain that if I can get out of this funk I’d be much better off. I’m sending Hubby to the store later, my new subscriptions have come out and I’d like to get my hands on this months installment of my favorite magazines. I’m sure I should just consider purchasing them and having them mailed to the house but I think it’s easier to just pick up everything at once from the market, that’s just…more»

Cliffside Malibu

Everyone knows that drug addiction is a major problem.  Living in the US, you only hear about the problems Nation wide, but in reality it’s a world-wide problem and these days it’s a part of almost every household.  I’m not saying that you’re 14 year old is smoking cocaine, but with the rise of addictive medication in house holds over the course of the last 20 years, I’m sure there’s something in your medicine cabinet that is magically starting to disapear, and you don’t quite understand why.  We’re living in a new age, it’s not about illegal narcotics – prescription…more»

Cleaning Out

In preparation for the move, Sean and I have both been going through a lot of our things to lighten the load.  I personally think it’s easier to get rid of all of the unwanted items now, so they don’t take up room on the uhaul and need to “dealt with” while we’re in the process of unpacking everything.  As of right now, the office is going to be the bulk of our efforts because everything is housed in there, whether we realize it or not.  You don’t realize how much stuff you have until you start going through it…more»
