While I can’t personally go with this company, I figured I’d make note of it for those looking for affordable hosting. Gossimer.com is a Web Hosting and Domain Registration company that offers more than enough resources for someone to house their personal or business related website there. As far as statistics are concerned, their base Web Hosting packages start out with 200MB of Disk Space, 5GB of Bandwidth, 3 MySQL Database and 25 Email Accounts and 5 Parked/Addon Domains for $5.95 a month. If you’re going to need something with a few more resources then I’ll suggest going Business Hosting. You’re given 5GB of Disk space, 50GB of Bandwidth, Unlimited MySQL, Email Addresses and Parked/Addon Domains for $24.95 a month. They also offer a free hosting package with the purchase of a domain name for $8.88. You’re given a very basic plan with 50MB Disk Space, 1GB Bandwidth, 1 MySQL Database and 5 Email Addresses with no option for a Parked or Addon Domain. If you already own your domain name, you can transfer the DNS to their company and you won’t have to pay the fee at all. It’s bannerless hosting so that helps you if you’re currently with a free company that requires ads on the website. They’re certainly worth checking out. If you’re looking for something a bit larger, like reseller hosting they can set you up with the Aluminum Package that houses 5GB Disk space, 50GB Bandwidth and unlimited domain options for $24.95 a month. You’re even entitled to your own name servers, you just don’t have your own IP addresses. All packages come standard with Cpanel/WHM which is one of the easiest programs to run.
