It’s unfortunate but we’re soon going to have to put Candy down because she hasn’t been doing very well lately. She’s about 16 years-old and she’s been on numerous medications, the most recent one for her heart which is about 3 times larger than it should be and has some fluid behind it, we’re unsure if it’s fluid in the lungs or around the heart. Either way it’s nothing anyone is happy about. I don’t like having to put an animal down but the unfortunate thing about it, they don’t live anywhere near as long as humans do. They’re a member of your family for less than two decades (on average), then they need to slip away because a higher power has a different plan for them.

It’s going to be a difficult week.
