Fantasy Baseball 2008

For the past year or so I’ve been doing a lot of reading into Fantasy Sports. The two that get the most attention in the US (to my knowledge) is fantasy football and fantasy baseball, respectively. I’m sure there are fantasy hockey options but the US truly isn’t known for it’s hockey teams – by any means. While I have been reading into fantasy sports, I still don’t really understand it. I’m a sports fan and all but I don’t really go into the demographics of everything. I just know when someone messes up – it’s bad. And I also…more»

Poor Posture

My back has really been acting up for the last couple of days. It’s also linked to numerous other issues that I’ve been having over the course of the last couple weeks. I know exactly what’s wrong but don’t have the financial freedom to fix it. I desperately need a good computer chair, my poor posture has a lot to do with a sore back and very bad headaches that come and go. Another reason for my headaches are the fact that I look at a computer screen all day. Even as someone who’s been doing this for the last…more»

Wholesale Sunglasses

I’m someone who can appreciate the status behind D&G Sunglasses. I’m also someone who enjoys getting them for rock-bottom prices too. The D&G’s that I own retail for about $1,200. It’s a bit absurd to spend that on sun glasses which is why I’m happy to get them off the back of a truck, or wholesale as it’s graciously put. So I spent a whopping $30 on a $1,200 pair of glasses that I really do use on a regular basis. As of right now they’re my only GOOD pair so I make it a point to take very good…more»

Gateway – T2330 Laptop

I’m still looking around for an Intel based PC that’s going to give me the ability to install the Mac OSX. I know it may be easier to just go out and purchase a $2200 Macbook Pro but why would I want to spend that kind of money when I can get the same statistics in a $600 windows based laptop? So the one I found was an Intel Pentium Dual-Core, 15.4″ screen, 2GB Ram, 160 GB hard drive, 128 Graphics, and 4 USB ports. Considering my main concern is the Intel processor and at least 2GB of ram. I…more»

Twitter Tools

So I’m continuing to play with my Twitter account and I came across a nifty WordPress plugin that allows me to instantly post a twitter anytime I update my blog. I have it installed on both krissy.nu and here. I should eventually have it worked into all of my blogs and it’ll be just as good as updating my RSS feed automatically, pretty nifty I say. I’ve also installed the Tweetbar, it allows me to post from my All-in-One Sidebar with Firefox. I swear the only time I ever have to log into my twitter account is if I change…more»

A $94,000 Watch?!

I’ve been floating around on feelgoodwatches.com. I found them a few days ago but they have a lot of nice looking watches that I’ll never afford. There’s all kinds of different vendors to look through, I’ve been focusing around the patek phillipe watches, because they’re pretty nice looking and how could you not float around a page when there’s watches that cost up to $94,000! I think patek philippe may be a little too expensive for my taste but if I ever get to the point where I’m willing to buy a man an expensive watch then hopefully I have…more»

Sitting Around

I’m basically sitting around for the next hour and waiting until Nip/Tuck comes on.  There isn’t much on TV so I’ve kind of left it on BBC America and I’m watching “Last Restaurant Standing” it kind of sucks but there’s really nothing else to do.  I’m waiting on numerous emails to come back to me with job information and what not.  I do hope to get something big, but who knows what’s going to happen. It’s a little chaotic in the house but that’s because we’ve got guests this week.  It was nice and quiet and now with the wind…more»

Considering Debt Consolidation

So with money being really tight right now, I’m looking to consolidate my loan with another company in hopes to have a lesser interest rate and maybe even figuring out how I can get some extra money so I can use it towards getting at least a down-payment on a car so I can finance it monthly through the dealership itself. It’s a long-shot but I don’t have much of a choice right now, so I’ve been looking into debt consolidation online . Unfortunately I have to say that I won’t be consolidating the loan with HSBC (the original lender)…more»

Yea, not going to happen…

So I went on another interview today and after walking around the store for a half hour, waiting for the manager, I then walked into the office seeing about 200 applications sitting on her desk.  So what does this mean?  I’m more than likely NOT going to get the job considering she’s doing call-backs tomorrow afternoon.  On the way home I headed to the beauty supply store to pick up a brush so I could lighten Sean’s hair, I asked if they were hiring but it’s a family-owned business and they noted that they don’t get enough customers to need…more»

Skincare Help

While this doesn’t exactly fall under technology or business for that matter, I do find skin care to be an important thing. I battled acne when I was younger and thankfully I grew out of it. While I don’t break out very often, I do have trouble finding the right moisturizers because of very dry skin. For a while now I’ve been using Clean & Clear but that leaves my face feeling even more dry than before I put it on, I found that when the lotion dries it leaves me flaky and that’s just something I can’t stand when…more»
