’05 Chevy Cobalt Sedan

So for the last few days I’ve been talking about my future car purchase, I figure I’ll share some more information with you. This is the 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt Sedan. While this isn’t the exact picture from the listing, this is the exact car that I’m looking into, right down to the color. It has only 44,000 miles on it and it’s going to cost me about $8,000. It comes standard with just about everything I could need in a car. The car-fax report on it has told me that it was never in an accident and according to the…more»

Continuing my search…

While continuing my woe’s about money via AIM with a friend of mine, she pointed me in the direction of picking up a payday loan. While I absolutely appreciate her trying to help me out, there’s something she doesn’t realize about payday loans. They require being paid back within one month of accepting the loan and you typically have to have a job on the books for more than six months and previous tax-filings to go with it. Now, while I do have the taxes, I don’t currently have a monthly paycheck, I file all of my taxes from the…more»

MyBlogLog, Twitter, Yahoo! Answers

I’ve been playing around with a few “new” websites for the last couple of days and I have to say I’ve been enjoying myself. Okay so they aren’t exactly new, but they’re certainly new for me. MyBlogLog.com In an effort to gain some more traffic I’ve activated my account with mybloglog.com. You can find my profile by going to /krissynu in the members section. As you can see, there isn’t a lot going on right now but I do intend to change that. I hope to have a lot more visitors and communities to keep me busy. Twitter I’ve seen…more»

Staying on top of things with a free credit report.

So I’ve been a little busy over the past few days, I’ve been going through a lot of resources in relation to getting myself a new car. The Baretta that I’m currently driving is Sean’s car and considering it’s a ’95, there are many issues with it and I’m confident that the car won’t last much longer. My only dilemma at the moment is the fact that I’m currently paying off a personal loan that’s costing me about $200 a month, hosting is costing me about $100 (out of pocket due to client loss) and my credit card will run…more»

Rain + Wind = UGH!

The wind may still be here but the rain has definitely gone away.  This doesn’t mean it’s not still chaotic outside.  Since there isn’t proper drainage in this complex, everyone’s driveways are completely flooded.  I’m happy that I didn’t have to go out today, I probably couldn’t even make it to the car considering all of the rain.  I know that with the way the driveway is pitched, my muffler is probably full of water but since things are starting to subside I guess it doesn’t matter too much.  The Baretta is really low to the ground, so sitting in…more»

Looking into a Printing Service

With recent Google issues I’ve found myself looking into other means to get my name out there to bring in some more money to replace what I’ve lost through blogging. While it’s a substantial amount of money, I’m naturally looking into more extreme methods. Sure, I can throw a few of my business cards up onto any tack-board I find but that doesn’t always bring in the best results. Business cards are a great route to take but I’ve actually been looking into Printing Services. Now, I design everything from business logo’s to brochures. I finally had a light-bulb moment…more»

OK

So I managed to get back on AIM and by the time that actually happened the person I needed to talk to signed off.  I’m not going anywhere though, I’m sure they’ll come back soon enough. I’ve put in about $35,000 worth of bids on numerous freelance websites, maybe I’ll get lucky enough so that a few of them stick and it gives me the $10,000 I need for my new car.  I’ve decided upon an ’05 Chevy Cobalt, I found one in Jersey for about $9,000 but I figure after taxes and then the insurance payment, the $10k will…more»

Nothing is going right!

Today is just one of those days when things just aren’t working out the way they’re supposed to.  My other domain isn’t loading and for some reason I’m having trouble getting onto AIM.  I’ve been using this same screen name for at least 10 years now and all of a sudden it’s telling me that the PW is invalid and when I try to fix it through AOL.com they basically say that I haven’t supplied enough information and if I can’t remember my password I’m just going to have to register a new screen name.  Why the fuck should I…more»

Extremely Frustrated

I have no idea what’s going on but .nu’s are messed up again. Nunames is giving me no kind of response as to why the problem came up and I’m still waiting on a response from my actual registrar (namecheap). So while I do have a lot of work to do on krissy.nu, I’m unable to access it right now to really get anything done. This has gotten me to move things around a bit on my schedule and now I’m just going to get started on a new template for this domain. I’ve really slacked off when it comes…more»

Sleep Deprivation

I’m borderline deprived of sleep. It’s not that I’m NOT sleeping, it’s that I’m not sleeping enough. My schedule has been a little “flighty” for the last few weeks. I’ve been bouncing around between 8:30am and 11am for the last month. Unfortunately I’m unable to actually fall asleep until about 2AM so I really have an odd-number of nights going on. With this new job I should be able to get myself on a more normal schedule. I’m just so accustomed to laying down and watching TV at night so I don’t tend to fall asleep until 2am. So of…more»
