The Nokia N800 is an internet tablet that already has a full on-screen keyboard. It doesn’t really need one like the iPhone, but that didn’t stop Gustavo Sverzut Barbieri. Gustavo hacked an iPhone on-screen keyboard for the tablet in under a week.
Well, it doesn’t do any of the fancy auto-correction that the iPhone does, but he certainly did capture the look and feel of it. It’s also not a phone (it will do internet calling, though), but it is cheaper than the iPhone at $400.
