I’m working on setting up the new template, I could have done everything on the back end and then loaded it (content and all) but I decided against that for the time being. This theme has been sitting on my hard drive for so long that I decided putting it up was the only option. I’ll have the content pages up over time, including some free themes that I’ve been working on for a while now, hopefully you guys like them as much as I do.
On top of getting the theme up, I had a rather busy day. I was out doing some much needed shopping and I have to say that since school is starting back up, a lot of stores have some great buys on sale. Everything from clothing to electronics tickled my fancy this afternoon. It was jump-started last night, however. I purchased myself a second monitor so I can jump full speed-ahead into a dual-monitor configuration. I figure with all of the time I’ve been spending in Photoshop, on top of the coding and keeping in touch with family back in New York, it’s annoying having to bounce from window to window. So the screen directly in front of me will go for the main work, the screen to the left will more than likely house photoshop.
I know that I’m going to be purchasing an iMac before the end of the year. I figure for now I’ll take the more inexpensive route and just setup the dual configuration. It’ll save me about $1200 in the end, and that money can easily be used towards more important things…like a new bed for Hubby and I.
