Okay, so I know it’s a little premature but as a girl (in a very happy long-term relationship) I tend to poke around the Internet when it comes to wedding related items. I know of the possible dress, where I want to hold the reception, I even have the name cards picked out, the thank you notices and just about every other key factor available, right down to the flowers. I’m a Rose person but there are so many different flowers that work well for weddings that it’s almost impossible to figure out what you’re looking for. I, however, am also a bargain shopper (third generation dollar-store queen) so when you come across links like wholesale calla lilies, you tend to pounce on the opportunity. I would pair them up with pink roses, only because red ones seem so boring to me. Add in a little babies-breath and a pretty bow and I’ve got myself a bouquet to throw at someone’s head during the reception. Sean will make it a point to avoid being the target, but who knows what stupid thing he’d decide to come up with during the most important day of our lives.

The site that I found was FiftyFlowers, they streamline the process, making it easier for the do-it-yourself bride to find the perfect flowers for her wedding. I’m someone who likes to take control of everything, I don’t understand where people get off hiring wedding planners – only to have constant complaints about them. If you want it done right, which typically means you want it done YOUR WAY, then do it yourself, you know?

The thing I like about this particular company, comes from the following quote:

FiftyFlowers offers wedding flower packages that are beautifully arranged at our flower facility according to your custom order. This product is very popular because it’s like a complete Wedding in a Box. The wedding party gets 23 pieces, including bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquet, corsages, boutonnieres, and table arrangements. The focal flower, accent flowers and greens are chosen by the bride.

Wedding in a Box? Man do I like that idea. Too bad everything else requires a lot of organization and intense work. :sigh:
