Slowly but surely…

I’m coming pretty close to completing the template I’ve been working on.  I still need to get all of the content pages worked in, so that may take me some time.  I’m down-sizing a lot of things so I can weed out all of the boring old-school work and I’m leaving tons of room for all of the newer style templates that seem to be making an imprint on people lately.  The blog template itself will still look like a standard blog page, of course, it’s just going to be so technical looking that you’ll think you’re sitting on CNN.com…more»

Feeling that itch…

I love going to casinos. I think it is because the first time I went I won over $6000 and was able to buy everyone really nice Christmas gifts that year. I just wish I could get up to Atlantic City more often. It isn’t so much about the actual casino than it is about the gambling and the possibility of winning big. I’d really enjoy it if I could go to an online casino, but I can’t due to where I live. Online casinos have all the traditional casino games so it would be just like sitting in a…more»

Almost There!

For the past couple of days I’ve been working on a new template for AGn Designs.  For me it’s finally the ultimate way of getting my portfolio and my blog merged together in a way that hasn’t been done before.  I’ve been meaning to do something like this for quite some time but I’ve been unable to due to a lack of confidence in my coding abilities I guess.  Either way I have everything drawn out and plenty of new features to work into it.  It’s going to take me a little while to finish configuring everything but I have…more»

Need a career?

Have you ever heard of Computer Forensics? I find it to be the coolest thing! There are companies around the US that work with law enforcement to crack cases. If someone is doing something illegal like downloading child porn or harassing people, then it can all easily be tracked on the back end of your computer. You can run clean-out programs all you want but once a file has been on the hard drive it’s information stays there for life. I came across DataChasers, they specialize in this stuff and have a pretty impressive resume to back it up as…more»

Base Coat

The sun just went down a few moments ago and it’s starting to get a little chilly. This hasn’t caused me to head inside just yet though. I’ve enjoyed spending the bulk of my afternoon in the sun and hopefully I’ve gotten enough sun to start off my tanning season. I try to get the “base coat” in the spring when things aren’t too warm yet, this stops me from burning so easily in the summer. I do plan on spending quite a bit of time down at the beach this summer. I know that it’s tourist central but luckily…more»

Fantasy Baseball 2008

For the past year or so I’ve been doing a lot of reading into Fantasy Sports. The two that get the most attention in the US (to my knowledge) is fantasy football and fantasy baseball, respectively. I’m sure there are fantasy hockey options but the US truly isn’t known for it’s hockey teams – by any means. While I have been reading into fantasy sports, I still don’t really understand it. I’m a sports fan and all but I don’t really go into the demographics of everything. I just know when someone messes up – it’s bad. And I also…more»

Poor Posture

My back has really been acting up for the last couple of days. It’s also linked to numerous other issues that I’ve been having over the course of the last couple weeks. I know exactly what’s wrong but don’t have the financial freedom to fix it. I desperately need a good computer chair, my poor posture has a lot to do with a sore back and very bad headaches that come and go. Another reason for my headaches are the fact that I look at a computer screen all day. Even as someone who’s been doing this for the last…more»

Wholesale Sunglasses

I’m someone who can appreciate the status behind D&G Sunglasses. I’m also someone who enjoys getting them for rock-bottom prices too. The D&G’s that I own retail for about $1,200. It’s a bit absurd to spend that on sun glasses which is why I’m happy to get them off the back of a truck, or wholesale as it’s graciously put. So I spent a whopping $30 on a $1,200 pair of glasses that I really do use on a regular basis. As of right now they’re my only GOOD pair so I make it a point to take very good…more»

Gateway – T2330 Laptop

I’m still looking around for an Intel based PC that’s going to give me the ability to install the Mac OSX. I know it may be easier to just go out and purchase a $2200 Macbook Pro but why would I want to spend that kind of money when I can get the same statistics in a $600 windows based laptop? So the one I found was an Intel Pentium Dual-Core, 15.4″ screen, 2GB Ram, 160 GB hard drive, 128 Graphics, and 4 USB ports. Considering my main concern is the Intel processor and at least 2GB of ram. I…more»

Twitter Tools

So I’m continuing to play with my Twitter account and I came across a nifty WordPress plugin that allows me to instantly post a twitter anytime I update my blog. I have it installed on both krissy.nu and here. I should eventually have it worked into all of my blogs and it’ll be just as good as updating my RSS feed automatically, pretty nifty I say. I’ve also installed the Tweetbar, it allows me to post from my All-in-One Sidebar with Firefox. I swear the only time I ever have to log into my twitter account is if I change…more»
