The beauty of WordPress

I’ve had a blog for a little over nine years now, so I can honestly say that I’ve tried almost every blog program and website out there. I started off with a blogger.com account that I then linked to my very first domain name. From there I went to LiveJournal to house a more personal blog and since then I’ve bounced around from program to program on my domains. Greymatter, B2, Movable Type, Express Engine, and now WordPress. I can also state that I don’t ever plan on using anything else but WordPress for the life of my blog. A…more»

A pretty uneventful day.

It’s actually starting to get a bit chilly in the house. The sun is going down and the cooler air is rolling in. It’s supposed to get down to about 50°F tonight. For me that means I’ll have the fan running in the bedroom instead of the air conditioning, which will mean a break on some of the noise in the room at night. I’m waiting for Sean to get some more work done so we can take a drive down to the mail box. I’d take the walk but it’s too chilly for it considering my hair is still…more»

Things are looking up.

A cold front came blasting through here this morning. Torrential down pours mixed with heavy thunder and lightening have given way to what I consider real Fall weather. The sun may be shining but it’s only 60°F (15°C) outside. There’s a nice cool breeze airing out the house at the moment, I’ve made it a point to open as many windows as possible. While my dog is good on going outside to do her business, there are two other dogs in the house that have been wee-wee pad trained and missing the pad completely is just a way of life…more»

Help is on the way!

As many in the U.S. would know, the economy at the moment is absolutely horrible thanks to our oh-so-intelligent lead man running the country. Budgets have been cut, jobs have been closed down, many people have been laid off or are taking some kind of a 10%-15% pay cut just so the businesses they work for can remain above water. Because of this, numerous people have been graced with bad credit because they either can’t pay their bills back in time or have had to take a very high interest credit card just to cover the emergencies of every day…more»

Cold Front Moving In

While it’s still rather warm in the house, there’s this wonderfully cool breeze coming through the windows behind me.  I’ve got myself setup on the couch because I’ve grown sick of keeping myself locked in the bedroom all day.  With the weather cooling down, having only one window in the room that’s currently being blocked up with an Air Conditioner, it’s kind of hard to enjoy the nice weather.  So I’ve wandered out to the living room where I’m currently enjoying six wide open windows all very active with a nice breeze that has yet to lift over the course…more»

CheapoAir

When looking to travel, on top of choosing a destination, one of the most important aspects is getting a great rate on your airfare. Checking into companies like cheapoair when in search for your air fare, is great for those on a budget. Their motto is One Click or Call Does It All, Call Customer Support 24/7 at 212-478-0335. Which is good to know when you’re in the process of getting things together for your trip. Not being able to get in touch with the company you’re spending your money on can be annoying to everyone involved. I actually compared…more»

Mac Resources

I’ve been looking into a lot of Mac based resources over the course of the last few months and the one that comes up the most for me is Mac Poker, based off macpokeronline.com.  I’ve been floating around this site for quite some time now.  I can’t tell you how often I play PC based poker but knowing full well that I’ll be switching completely over to Mac so having the right resources, even the ones that are just there to cover my little gambling habit are something I’m going to require right when I take the new computer out…more»

FastClass.com

If you’re looking to enter the fast paced world of real estate, then looking into the Real Estate School Directory would be a great thing for you. Schools are listed by states and focus on education for Real Estate and related industries such as Appraisal, Home Inspection and Mortgage. The site is called FastClass.com and based on the few moments I was floating around the site, I was able to find numerous colleges with just the click of the button. Being as I’m moving to Ohio soon, and am very interested in Real Estate, considering all of the money involved,…more»
