I’m not going to lie, I think the only reason this domain is still around is based on the fact that I keep it on auto-renewal. The problem with that is I have a tendency to completely forget it’s even here. Since I’m being pulled in so many different directions for work, I’ve had to pretty much place EVERYTHING on the back burners. As previously noted, Sean and I are in Delaware for a “workation”.  We haven’t really gotten to enjoy very much being as our computers really don’t leave our sides unless we’re sleeping, even then they’re still on and downloading countless emails for the 6-8 hours (if we’re lucky) while we’re asleep.  We took some time to drive around down in the Rehoboth area (by his Mom) to do some house hunting.  Of course everyone that sparked my interest was in the $250k to $350k range.  The difference between looking down here at houses in that price range, and the quality…more»

Things have been more than hectic lately, my biggest gripe about all of the pending work to complete is the fact that I’m  typically working in two different locations all day long. It took about a year for me to get back up and running, but I’m happy to say that AcidGloss.net is back! The theme is up, and some content has been loaded in.  Over the course of the next couple weeks I’ll be blogging (a lot more), and hopefully able to get this domain back to where it used to be. It’s gonna take me a few days to get back into the swing of things and buff up security on the site but I have every intent of coming back to the blogging world. I just updated all of my plugins and wordpress and quickly cleared out over one hundred pending spam comments. I’m gonna keep movin forward until I’m back on track then its smooth sailing from here.

Supposedly I had a few outdated scripts running on this domain that some fishing software took over and we were demanded to shut it down. So what do you do in a situation like this?  Upgrade everything that you’re actually still using and DELETE everything else. HAHAH!

So I got pretty lucky.  I was able to figure out what was wrong with the old installation of WordPress.  I exported the posts and categories and now I’ve moved everything over to a new fresh installation and everything appears to be working just fine now.  I’m still going to have to work on a few things.  I have absolutely no new articles to write up.  I don’t currently have a theme setup either, and I’m going to have to do everything I get the plugins back up and running.  Either way I imagine it’ll take me a while to…more»

It’s been quite some time since I updated this template.  There are numerous plugins that do not work with the newest version of WordPress and it’s causing some trouble with a few of my sponsored links, as well as the bulk of my sidebar in general.  I’m going to spend some time fixing these problems and when that’s said and done I’m going to then begin working on a new template for this site.  I do like the general look and feel of the sidebar, this is why I’m going out of my way to fix it due to the…more»
