I came across a website today that I found to be so genuinely sweet it’s unbelievable. A woman gives away free jewelry in a promotion named “Random Acts of Bling”.
I came across an article today that amused me to no end. How many of you have made something with Lego’s in your lifetime? Did you ever set out to build some massive structure but never really followed through with it? What if I told you that someone turned 200,000 legos into an Aircraft Carrier that weighs approximately 300lbs?
I have to say that I’m rather upset with Apple at the moment, they’re going to some pretty radical extremes – from my point of view at least.
With all of the buzz surrounding the new iPhone, it’s no surprise to me that everyone is jumping on the bandwagon of making their sites iPhone compliant. Just having standards compliant website isn’t necessarily going to help you out this time. I personally have no idea what my website will look like on an iPhone, mainly because I refuse to go out and actually purchase one.
I spend quite a bit of time watching G4 because my fiance is a gamer and they typically talk a lot about new technology and gaming. He’s an avid gamer, if he could he’d own every single game console known to man and I know for sure he’s anticipating being able to FIND a Wii because he’s desperate to own one at some point in time.
The iPhone made it’s official launch on June 29, 2006. AT&T/Cingular and Apple based stores were swarmed with long lines and cheery people anticipating getting what some are considering the best new technology in years, basically since the iPod even though there were stand up MP3 players long before the iPod took off.
Tmobile, wanting to jump on the VoIP bandwagon, is now offering wi-fi calling through your home based internet wireless connection. For around $10 a month you can add this option to your plan and be tapped into the wi-fi connection in order to make your phonecalls from home.
Some blogs have nothing to say, this website really has nothing to say, on purpose. Its called lipsum and it’s used for testing fonts and filling up pages with pig latinish words so you can get a better idea on how your new template or webpage will look. This website simply generates some lipsum for your site, so if you are going to say nothing, do it in style with lipsum and save us the time of reading your dribble. Check it out [tags]Gadgets, Lipsum, Cool Sites[/tags]
Its thrilling selling that old Apple IIgs sitting in the basement on eBay for a cool $250 dollars so you can buy your new iPhone. However when it comes time to get paid you suddenly feel a little ripped off. You see not only do you get to pay eBay’s fees but you also get to pay a PayPal fee. Now you can take out the guesswork with the PayPal calc.
