Product Testing

The mail man just dropped off an interesting package for me.  A few weeks ago I signed up for a site where you’re paid to do some random product testing.  I’d completely forgotten about it up until I opened the box.  The test is for what they claim to be a new Shampoo and Conditioner.  The cool thing is it’s a product that I’m already using so I really won’t have to worry about destroying my hair with product that could be potentially harmful.  It’s for Dove, a product I’ve been using for as long as I can remember.  This…more»

Not worth the money…

I sat down last night and read “If I Did It”, the book that has had people buzzing around the Internet.  I found it to be very difficult to read, based heavily on the fact that so many details that weren’t made public where actually in this book.  A dear friend of mine is a clairvoyant, and he touched the book and instantly felt sick to his stomach.  OJ did the crime, the fact that he was able to get away with it shocked the nation, and this book very obviously shows his guilt.  I’m going to side with the…more»

Something funky going on…

Today it reached about 72 degrees, right now it’s pushing 45.  This change in weather is taking it’s toll on just about everyone.  Sean can barely breath, even Bella seems a little under the weather and I just haven’t been feeling well for the last few days. There’s a tropical storm heading this way, not sure how much damage it’s going to do but hopefully it doesn’t linger around for too long.  We’re hoping that we’ll hear from his brother this weekend so we can head out to Ohio by Monday.  Let’s just hope that it actually happens that way…more»

Waiting too patiently

It’s been quite some time since we’ve heard from Sean’s brother.  We’ve gone ahead and sent him a letter under the assumption that he managed to misplace or damage his cell phone, something he’s known to do.  We’re just itching to get out of here so every second of not knowing what’s going on is starting to drive us insane.  The office has been cleaned up a little bit so at least it’s livable.  Sean found someone online who’s interested in taking a few computer items off our hands.  We’re getting rid of the 19″ CRT that I got with…more»

How drunk do you have to be?

When you live in New York your entire life, moving to the country life of Delaware truly is a bit of shell shock to anyone.  While I moved down here for personal reasons, my heart is still in New York on many occasions.  So in wanting to get in touch with the local yokels and figure out just how they think, I realized that not being an alcoholic doesn’t benefit me down here.  They’ve invented something called Punkin Chunkin, they hold it every year and it’s my proof that you need to be completely snot faced in order to appreciate…more»

Who Knows?

I spent some time relaxing tonight because I know that the next few weeks are going to be really hectic for both Sean and I.  Tomorrow we’re hopping in the car with the dog and heading up to New York.  We probably won’t get there until about 6:30-7PM depending on what time we leave here.  Sunday is going to be a fairly easy day but I’m sure I’ll be visiting family and what not anyway.  I know I’d like to see my aunt, I haven’t spoken to her very much since Christmas, we’re close so that bothers me.  I could…more»

Quick Market Run

I don’t like taking a break mid-day but I’m going to have to.  I’m about to hop in the shower so I can get dressed and head over to Walmart and pick up a few choice items for the next few days.  Bella is out of food, we’re almost out of toilet paper, I know we need cling wrap and I could use a few packs of cigarettes to get me through the weekend.  Since I’ve been purchasing everything down here, I’m used to the tax free shopping.  Beyond that, I’m used to the lower prices.  Going back to NY…more»

Kicking myself

I woke up kind of early today but that’s based on the fact that it’s extra warm in the bedroom and sleeping longer would just mean a whole truck load of discomfort.  The other day I decided that it was time to take the A.C. out of the window, this was based on the fact that things have cooled off quite a bit up to that point and having an A.C. in the only window in the room really wasn’t worth it.  It never worked at night considering it got down to the mid 40’s on a few occasions and…more»

My Memory is Slipping

My temporary filling has been acting up on me, I’m back on antibiotics to get the swelling down and hopefully the abscess will disappear before any major damage has been done to my gums.  With the pain of my tooth getting to me, a horrible migraine showed up right above my left eye so I made it a point to lay down in bed and just relax until the aspirin kicked in.  Now, this was last  night and while the headache is gone, my tooth is still bothering me. While I was laying down last night something was telling me…more»

Working up to finally Quitting.

I’ve been a heavy smoker for the last 10 years or so. I know that seems hard to believe considering I’m only 23, but at the same time – I had some pretty crappy teen years and that was my only way of really calming down. While in search of a few things for the new house, I was floating around Harriet Carter and happened to come across a few things to help me for when I’m looking to quit smoking. The first is called Healthy Smoker, it’s a book that teaches you how to get healthy so you can…more»
