Wedding Invitations

A friend of mine has been planning her wedding for quite some time now, and she’s got me scouring the Internet looking for her potential invitations. She’s convinced that she can just pay someone like $3,000 and they’ll do the invitations for her. I told her to look over the InvitationConsultants.com Blog because there are many tips and tricks that I’m sure will help her out in the end. I don’t think anyone should spend that kind of money, she’s only going to have like 100 people at her wedding, she’s spending more on the invitations (say $30 per invitation)…more»

Affiliate Marketing

For the past few months I’ve explained numerous ways on how to go about bringing more business to your company. Now, naturally since this is Internet based, this is the main topic I’m going to stick to. For those outside of the Virtual World, your options are flyers, business cards, word of mouth, billboards (if you’ve got the cash for it), magazines, newspapers and other paper-based means that will cost you quite a bit of money depending on who you go through for these bits of advertising. When it comes to the Internet? Sure, word of mouth is an excellent…more»

World Market Systems

I’ve been searching for a new host as you may know, and in my search for a new host, I came across a website that provides articles on ways of advertising your business. World Market Systems doesn’t just write articles, however, they are a premiere provider of website services and programs for the online businesses. I have gone through their website and taken notes on how to be successful in search engine rankings, and how to effectively advertise in not so traditional ways, like through newsgroups. Why on newsgroups? Newsgroups have been around longer than Google, therefor they have much…more»

Rentals

So instead of looking into real estate, I found myself getting sidetracked with Hawaii vacation rentals. I came across a three bedroom beach front villa that’s literally to die for. If I ever get to the point where my year-round home looked like this one, I’d probably be the most content person in the free world. It’s rather inexpensive to rent during the summer months. I assume that since December to January is a heavy holiday month, mixed with the cold, spending $800 a day isn’t such a bad deal. I was easily side tracked again though, on the same…more»

Resources: fundeals4u.com

I just came across a site called fundeals4u.com. They offer some pretty sweet deals on everything from boating to electronics, outdoor equipment and tools. As far as electronics are concerned, they offer you everything from Furniture and Storage to Telephones. Since I’m the electronics junkie that I am, I found myself surfing around this particular category more than the others. The other sections are loaded with everything one would need as far as Camping Equipment is concerned. I poked around the tents section based on the fact that Hubby is interested in taking me camping one day. I like to…more»

Hawaiian Vacation Homes

I’m itching to take a vacation and if I had the money I’d seriously be looking into Hawaii real estate just so I could purchase a summer home. I’m not someone who really enjoys the beach, too many people and I know how hard it is to constantly have to vacuum sand out of a carpet so living on the water just isn’t something I’d ever like to do. However, this doesn’t mean that I don’t appreciate a beautiful Ocean View. This could mean either sunrise or sunset, either one is equally appealing to me. I’ve been searching around numerous…more»

Moving Woe’s

With moving to our own place fresh on our minds, we sit back and wonder just how we’re going to go about making ends meet. We’re not overly concerned about it because we know that if we properly budget ourselves, we’ll be able to accomplish just about anything. The big thing for me is whether or not we’re going to take the route of Mortgages or if we’re going to look into houses for rent in whatever area we happen to choose. The option of Mortgages means that not only will we own the house, but the bank will own…more»

Printer is finally up and running!

Sean has finally setup the printer in the office. He also went out of his way to setup the scanner as well. This is a task that we’ve been trying to accomplish for the last few months of even BEING in this office, so naturally I was surprised when I found out about it. He’s been keeping busy, that’s for sure. Unfortunately, the printer is out of ink at the moment but after scouring the Internet for the last half hour, I was able to locate a few very affordable cartridges and that’s just gravy! I’ve gone through ink-discount sites…more»

Debt Solutions

An important aspect of getting the best loan possible while we search for a home, is making sure that all of the credit cards are taken care of because a bad credit score is what’s putting a damper on Hubby getting a loan to the same degree that I’m eligible for. He was approved for a card when he was about 17 and now it’s to the point that I’ve sidetracked some of my loan searches with Credit Card Consolidation. Now, he only owes about $2500 in total on two cards, this is still an outstanding balance, no matter how…more»
