Typically when someone asks you what charity you support, naturally the first word that comes out of someones mouth may be on the topic of either Animals or some kind of Environmental act. The difference is, what do you have to show for this support?

I’ve been in the advertising and marketing business for quite some time so when someone wants to send me free product samples, I tend to jump all over it – depending on what they’re asking for in return of course. A few companies have contacted me in regards to clothing, electronics, pet supplies, school supplies and more. Half of the items on my desk weren’t purchased by me, but sent to me by the advertiser and then I write up a blog entry with my likes/dislikes of the product and go from there.

There are many different games that one can play to keep you fully relaxed and concentrated. Some play checkers, others play chess. Then there’s dominoes, cards and other board games. A topic that has interested me for quite some time is real estate. I know this sounds strange coming from a technology nerd, but it’s true. A lot of money has exchanged hands because of a simple thing known as property investment. I’m not talking in regards to a few hundred here, couple thousand there. Billions of dollars are spent every single year in real estate, how could you not want to jump on the bandwagon?

For me, the true sign of growing up is how you handle your responsibilities. I do not base the term ‘grown up’ on someone’s age. There are many people, in their mid to upper 30’s still living at home with their parents and claiming to be an adult when they have literally nothing to show for it.

When it comes to running your own business, it’s sometimes hard to pay the bills soley through the income of your clients. I’ve noticed a major trend with the internet, web designers in particular, where users are going with outside sources such as paid blogging, filling out surveys, or touching into the advertising and marketing fields just to bring in a little bit more money at the end of the month.

I came across a new site today that offers free chat rooms to it’s users. Naturally when I think “chat rooms” the first thing to pop into my head is AOL or even Yahoo for that matter but wireclub.com is basically taking the bull by the horns and attempting to stand out amongst the rest.

When it comes to running an internet business it’s important to be tapped into many resources to make your business run smoothly. A key thing for me is the ability to accept credit cards when someone is paying me for my services.
